Language unlock changes which menu languages appear — not your sensor, lens mount, or card slots. Still, any firmware-level process carries risk. Here is what we change, what stays the same, and how we reduce problems.

What language unlock changes
The process unlocks hidden entries in the Language menu so you can select Hebrew, English, German, French, and other supported languages. Settings → Language shows the full list after success. Your photos, custom picture profiles, and AF modes remain as you left them unless you change language (which only affects UI text).
What should NOT change
Image quality, burst rate, autofocus algorithms, and battery behaviour should remain unchanged on compatible models. We do not swap mainboard hardware or install unofficial Canon OS builds. If a model or firmware is not on our supported list, we say so before payment — we do not guess.

Any modification can carry bricking or warranty void risk in theory. Power loss during USB sessions, wrong firmware, or incompatible bodies increase risk — follow our instructions and use a charged battery. MenuLang Unlock is independent of Canon Inc. How we reduce risk
Compatibility confirmation before payment, model-specific instructions, Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ support, and human support via contact form and chat. We ask for firmware version upfront so unsupported combinations are filtered early.

Can unlock brick my EOS R6?+
Brick risk exists for any USB firmware procedure. We only proceed on confirmed-compatible firmware and guide you through stable power and cable setup. Contact us with your exact version first.
Does Canon know if languages were unlocked?+
Service centres may inspect firmware. We do not represent unlock as Canon-authorised. Proceed at your own risk per our disclaimer.
Can I revert to two languages?+
Language choice is user-selectable after unlock. Reverting the full list may require service — ask us about your model if rollback matters.
