30 Canon menu languages after unlock
International Canon firmware supports 30 menu languages. JDM and region-locked bodies hide most of them. After MenuLang Unlock on compatible models, the full list appears in Settings → Language.

Complete language list
Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
Most requested languages we unlock
Hebrew for Israel, English on Japan imports, German and French in multilingual households, Arabic in the Gulf, Russian and Ukrainian in diaspora communities, and Korean on JDM compacts in Korea. Your camera may already contain these strings — unlock exposes the selector.
Switching languages after unlock
Open Menu → Setup → Language and pick any listed language. The UI redraws immediately. You can switch back to English or Japanese anytime. No reinstall per language — one unlock reveals the full table on compatible firmware.
Models with best 30-language support
Recent EOS R, EOS M, PowerShot G, and PowerShot SX models commonly support the full set once unlocked. Verify on your specific model page — G7 X Mark III, M50 Mark II, M200, and SX740 HS are frequent successes. Contact us if your Language screen still shows fewer than 30 after unlock.
FAQ
Are all 30 languages on every Canon model?+
Most supported models use the same 30-language set. Very old or specialty bodies may differ — we confirm per firmware.
Does unlock add RTL support for Hebrew and Arabic?+
Canon provides RTL layout where the model firmware includes it. Unlock exposes languages Canon bundled for that region family.
Can I unlock only one language?+
Unlock restores the full selector. You choose which language to display; you do not pick individual languages to add.
